Newly-Elected Judges Take Oath of Office Before Supreme Court President and National Assembly Speaker

Judges elected to office for the first time at the session by decision of the High Judicial Council, took the oath of office on Friday, 1 November 2024, before the President of the Supreme Court Jasmina Vasovic and National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic.

By the text of the oath, the judges pledged to abide by the Constitution and laws and to perform their duty as best they know and can and serve only truth and justice.

The oath of office was taken by judges of the basic courts in Bujanovac, Velika Plana, Vranje, Jagodina, Nis, Pozarevac, Smederevo, Leskovac, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Krusevac, Pozega, Prijepolje, Subotica and Cacak, misdemeanour courts in Vranje, Gornji Milanovac, Kragujevac, Jagodina, Nis, Pozarevac, Smederevo, Leskovac, Prijepolje and Subotica, as well as judges of the commercial court in Valjevo.
