National Assembly Standing Delegation at 60th PABSEC General Assembly

Under the auspices of its presidency of PABSEC, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia will host the 60th General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, to be held in Belgrade, on 6-8 December 2022.


MPs from all 13 of the PABSEC member states, as well as guests from other countries and representatives of international organisations, will come together to have a live session in Belgrade, after the long break caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia will host the event as PABSEC chair in the second half of this year.

In the general debate, the MPs will discuss the role of parliaments and interparliamentary cooperation in stimulating economic growth in the wider Black Sea region. In addition to the main topic, the participants will also discuss the challenges and prospects of cooperation in the field of agriculture in BSEC member states after the pandemic, the role of parliaments in stimulating foreign investments and the social impact of the refugee crisis in BSEC member states.

In addition to Serbia, delegations from member countries - North Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine – will be taking part in the plenary session.

The National Assembly delegation will comprise: MA Igor Becic as head of the delegation, and Jasmina Obradovic, Milija Miletic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Vojislav Vujic and Dusan Radosavljevic as members.
