National Assembly Standing Delegation Members to Take Part in NATO PA Committee Visit to Sarajevo

The Head of the standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Dragan Sormaz and standing delegation members Snezana Paunovic and Sandra Jokovic will be taking part in visit of the NATO PA Economics and Security Committee (Sub-Committee on Transition and Development) to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 7 – 9 June 2022.

In the course of the visit the officials will discuss Bosnia and Herzegovina 's relations with its neighbours in the Western Balkans, impact of the war in Ukraine in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, role of NATO and KFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina, economic situation, energy security and environmental challenges, fight against corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the migration challenges in the Western Balkans.

The participants will meet, among others, with members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Sefik Dzaferovic, Milorad Dodik and Zeljko Komsic, High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt, Commander of NATO Headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina Brigadier General Pamela McGaha and EUFOR Mission Commander Major General Anton Wessely.
