National Assembly Speaker Receives Newly-Appointed Belarusian Ambassador
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic received the newly-appointed Belarusian Ambassador Vladimir Chuschev.
The officials were pleased by the development of bilateral relations both in the political and economic sphere. They deemed it important to intensify regional and local cooperation. They also spoke about constituting a Friendship Group with Belarus at the Serbian Assembly, as well as twinning Belarusian and Serbian towns.
They agreed to intensify parliamentary cooperation both on the level of working bodies and the highest level, as soon as possible.
The Belarusian Ambassador restated his country’s principled position as regards respecting Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
