National Assembly Speaker Receives Newly-Appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic received the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Kim Kwang-keun.


In a very cordial meeting the officials noted that the two countries' economic relations were developing successfully, particularly as regards the presence of well-known Korean companies in Serbia.

 

The Ambassador announced that the Republic of Korea was interested in intensifying economic cooperation since, among other things, the Korean companies’ experience so far has been positive. He once again invited the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to visit the Republic of Korea. Djukic Dejanovic was pleased to accept the invitation. She briefed the Ambassador on the National Assembly’s activities so far not only as regards harmonising regulations and laws with EU requirements, but also as regards legislation aimed at improving the everyday lives of Serbian citizens.
