National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic emphasised the importance of nurses and technicians for healthcare, stressing that they play an important role in health promotion, disease prevention and primary and community healthcare, which was especially evident during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Nurses and technicians are often the first and sometimes the only health professionals people see and the quality of their assessment and nursing is crucial in the treatment process, therefore it is necessary to contribute to a better position of nurses and technicians through activities aimed at improving their legal status.
