National Assembly Speaker Meets with Presidents of Four Municipal Assemblies from Kosovo-Metohija
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic received the presidents of four municipal assemblies from Kosovo-Metohija, at their request.
The upcoming local elections in Kosovo-Metohija were the topic of conversation. National Assembly Speaker Slavica Djukic Dejanovic said that the local elections would be called in all areas where the councilmen’s four-year term of office has expired and that there would be no difference between the municipalities in the north and south of Kosovo-Metohija. The Speaker stated that she did not want the fate of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija to be politically misused.
The Secretary General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Veljko Odalovic took part in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Municipal Assembly of Leposavic Slavko Stefanovic, President of the Municipal Assembly of Zubin Potok Stevan Bozovic, President of the Municipal Assembly of Zvecan Dobrosav Dobric and Vice President of the Municipal Assembly of Zvecan Ljubomir Radovic.
