National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Sends Telegram of Condolences on Death of Dusan Duda Ivkovic

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic sent a telegram of condolences on the death of Dusan Duda Ivkovic:

"It was with great sadness that I received the news of the departure of Dusan Duda Ivkovic, one of the biggest names in the history of our basketball, a man who was a great source of joy and pride countless times. He will leave behind a huge sense of loss in our basketball, to which he had dedicated his entire life and was the father of our country’s greatest successes on the world stage. He was the best in the thing we were the best in the world, Duda brought great joy to our people for decades and made us proud of the victories and medals he won all over the planet. He left behind generations of top world-class athletes, but he also left a school where generations of basketball players will learn how to represent their country.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Duda Ivkovic, his friends, associates and players, to all those with whom he wrote the history of Serbian basketball. "
