Head of National Assembly Standing Delegation to NATO PA to Visit NATO PA Sub-Committees in USA
Dragan Sormaz, Head of the National Assembly standing delegation to the NATO PA, will be taking part in the joint visit to the NATO PA Sub-Committee on Democratic Governance and Sub-Committee on Transatlantic Relations in Philadelphia and Carlisle, Pennsylvania, USA, 18 – 22 September 2017.
The topics the parliamentarians will be discussing in the course of their stay in the US cover the new administration’s foreign policy priorities, conflict in the Middle East and North Africa, security situation in East Asia, relations with Russia, and the fight against terrorism. The participants will also have meetings at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI), Middle East Forum (MEF), as well as the Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) of the US Army War College.
