First Sitting of the European Integration Committee
The European Integration Committee held its first sitting on 1 July 2016. The first sitting was convened by the National Assembly Speaker, as stipulated in article 25, paragraph 1 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
The Committee members elected Marinika Tepic of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina – Green Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairperson, and Elvira Kovacs of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians - Party of Democratic Action Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairperson.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, Petar Jojic of the Serbian Radical Party Parliamentary Group.
