Fifty-Eighth Sitting of the Legislative Committee
At the sitting held on 22 July, the Legislative Committee continued discussing the amendments submitted to the Bills on the agenda for the Eleventh Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009.The Committee considered the amendments submitted to the set of health laws and deemed all the amendments submitted to the Bills on Public Health (5), on Blood Transfusion (14) and on Organ Transplantation (40) legally feasible.

The Committee considered the amendments submitted to the set of health laws and deemed all the amendments submitted to the Bills on Public Health (5), on Blood Transfusion (14) and on Organ Transplantation (40) legally feasible. The amendments submitted to the Bill on Cell and Tissue Transplantation (33) are also legally feasible, except for one which was rejected as unallowable. Out of the 29 amendments submitted to the Bill on Infertility Treatments by Bio-medical Aided Fertilisation, one was rejected as incomplete.
The Committee discussed the amendments submitted to the Bill on National Councils of National Minorities (173) and deemed them legally feasible, except for a few amendments which were rejected as incomplete or not in line with the Serbian Constitution.

At the sitting, the Committee members also discussed the 46 amendments submitted retrospectively to the Bill on Zoning and Construction. Apart from two amendments which were rejected as incomplete, all the others were pronounced legally feasible.
All the amendments submitted retrospectively to the Bill on State Survey and Land Registry(17) were deemed legally feasible.
At the end of the sitting, the Legislative Committee considered one amendment submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Public Information Law and rejected it as unallowable.
