Fifth Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 14 December 2020, the members of the Culture and Information Committee considered, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Temporary Regulation of Payment of Fees for the Public Media Service, submitted by the Government.


The Bill was presented on behalf of the submitter by Assistant Minister of Culture and Information Slavica Trifunovic and State Secretary at the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zoran Lakicevic.

The Committee members unanimously adopted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Temporary Regulation of Payment of Fees for the Public Media Service, in principle.

The Committee went on to adopt the response to the complaint of Adria media group to the legality of the operation of REM.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Sandra Bozic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zeljko Tomic, Vuk Mircetic, Ákos Újhelyi, Snezana Paunovic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Lav-Grigorije Pajkic, MA Jadranka Jovanovic, Milos Terzic, Nebojsa Bakarec, Ljubomir Maric, Justina Pupin Koscal, Milica Dacic and Samira Cosovic.
