Fifth Session of the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues

The Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues held its fifth sitting on 26 September. The sitting was chaired by Meho Omerovic, and representatives of the United Nations Development Programme and Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence participated in the Committee’s activities.


The Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues held its fifth sitting on 26 September. The sitting was chaired by Meho Omerovic, and representatives of the United Nations Development Programme and Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence participated in the Committee’s activities.

The Members of Parliament were acquainted with the programmes that the United Nations Development Programme and Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence conduct in cooperation with the National Assembly, and whose goal is strengthening the Committee’s capacities, above all, for the active participation in combating poverty. Their mutual belief is that the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues should participate in conducting the programme.

The Committee will request information about the situation concerning the military reservemen participants of the protest in Kursumlija, from the Ministry.
