Fifteenth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003
The Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia convened the Fifteenth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003 for 10 a.
The Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia convened the Fifteenth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003 for 10 a.m. on Wednesday 27 August.
The request for the holding of the session was submitted by a group of 102 Deputies, who had set the following agenda:
1. Proposal of the Declaration on Kosovo and Metohia, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The Chairperson of the National Assembly informed the Deputies that the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Ministers in the Serbian Government, as well as the Government’s secretary, had been invited to attend the session.
The National Assembly noted that Tomica Milosavljevic had tendered his resignation as Minister of Health in the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
At the beginning of the joint discussion of the Proposal of the Declaration on Kosovo and Metohia the Deputies were addressed by the Prime Minister, Zoran Zivkovic, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Nebojsa Covic, on behalf of the body which submitted the Proposal.
During the afternoon part of the session, the National Assembly concluded debate and, on Voting Day, unanimously adopted the Declaration on Kosovo and Metohia.
