FOURTH REGULAR SITTING OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA IN 2005

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic convened, at the request of 99 deputies, the Fourth Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2005 for 12 p.


The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic convened, at the request of 99 deputies, the Fourth Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2005 for 12 p.m. on Monday 30 May.

The following agenda was set in the request for holding the session:


    - Bill Ratifying the Agreement on Trade in Textiles between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union, proposed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Addressing the deputies at the beginning of the joint discussion as representative of the proposer, the Minister of International Economic Relations in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Milan Parivodic, said that the Agreement on Trade in Textiles between Serbia and the European Union would make possible the export of all textiles and textile products originating in the Republic of Serbia into the European Union without customs or quotas, which was of great significance for the textile industry and the economy of Serbia as a whole.

Having concluded discussion in principle and in particular on the Bill, Mr Markovic convened a Voting Day session immediately after the end of the session.

The National Assembly adopted, in its entirety, the Bill Ratifying the Agreement on Trade in Textiles between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union, proposed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, after which Mr Markovic concluded the Fourth Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2005.
