Dr Orlic Speaks with Head of Pakistani Parliament Delegation on IPU Sidelines

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic met today in Kigali, on the sidelines of the 145th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, with the Head of the Pakistani Parliament delegation, Senator Farooq Hamid Naek.

The officials noted that the bilateral relations between the two countries are good, as evidenced by the fact that next year will mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

They expressed interest in improving cooperation in the fields of economy, education, trade and many other areas of mutual interest.

Dr Orlic praised the formation of the Friendship Group with Serbia in both houses of the Pakistani Parliament, announcing the formation of a PFG with Pakistan in the new legislature of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
