The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic visited the "Wine Vision by Open Balkan" fair today, where he presented awards to the best brandy producers.
Dr Orlic thanked the participants of the competition, as well as the Association of Serbian Brandy Producers, who assessed the award winners, because they promote Serbia with their products and dedicated work.
He said that the second "Wine Vision by Open Balkan" had gathered a record number of visitors, which is another confirmation that the Open Balkans initiative has come to life in its full capacity. "We are proud to say that the idea of the Open Balkans came from our country and from President Aleksandar Vucic, that its importance was recognised by both North Macedonia and Albania, and that it was created, just like this fair, with the commitment to strengthen mutual partnership and of cooperation," said Dr Orlic.
As he added, the leadership of the Republic Serbia will continue to contribute to the strengthening of the initiative and its further promotion. "We will continue our diligent work on the further realisation of all the opportunities that the Open Balkans provides, following the visionary ideas of President Vucic, who has once again showed that only a wise state policy can yield such important initiatives as our Open Balkans", concluded Dr Orlic, congratulating the winners, as well as everyone who contributed to a better future for Serbia and the Balkans today.
