Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee Congratulates 94th International Day of Cooperatives

The Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia congratulates the 94th International Day of Cooperatives, celebrated since 1923 all over the world on the first Saturday in July, to all members of the cooperative movement – members of cooperatives, cooperatives and cooperative alliances in Serbia.

In view of the importance of cooperatives for fostering business ties between 628,000 family farms and the development of 4,539 settlements in Serbian rural areas, the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee has decided to dedicate a special sitting to the analysis of the situation in and development potentials of agricultural cooperatives.
