94th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 5 December, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted by the Environmental Protection Committee, Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, and MPs Katarina Rakic and Djordje Komlenski to the bills on the agenda of the Fourth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2018.


The Environmental Protection Committee had submitted 25 amendments to the Bill on Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security, which the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending had submitted an amendment with alteration to Article 8 of the Republic of Serbia 2019 Budget Bill, with its accompanying Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund 2019 Financial Plan, Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Republic Health Insurance Fund 2019 Financial Plan, Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the National Employment Service 2019 Financial Plan and the Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Fund for Social Insurance of Military Insured 2019 Financial Plan, which the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members also found the amendment submitted to Article 61 of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Civil Servants by the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The amendment with alteration submitted to Article 1 of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Working Hours of Road Transport Vehicle Crew and Tachographs by MP Katarina Rakic was also found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The two amendments with alteration submitted to articles 2 and 3 of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Procedure for Registration into Real Estateand Power Lines Cadastre by MP Djordje Komlenski was also found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milena Corilic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Vesna Markovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Aleksandra Majkic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Bojan Torbica, Bajro Gegic and Vojislav Vujic.
