50th Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications
At the sitting held on 21 December, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications discussed the Bill on Recovery after Natural and Other Disasters, submitted by the Government, in principle.
The Bill was elaborated by Assistant Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Jovanka Atanackovic who said that its goal is to regulate the procedure of the recovery and assistance to citizens and economic entities who had suffered material damages during natural and other disasters. The Assistant Minister stressed that the Bill poses no new obligations to the citizens of the Republic of Serbia, but provides a framework for adequate disaster relief.
The Committee members unanimously decided to accept the Bill on Recovery after Natural and Other Disasters, in principle.
The sitting was attended by Committee members Zoran Bojanic, Mujo Mukovic, Suzana Spasojevic, Milan Kovacevic, Jovica Jevtic, Vuceta Toskovic, Katarina Rakic, Zoran Milekic and Branka Bosnjak.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milutin Mrkonjic.
