The Committee members ascertained that the situation falls under Article 88, paragraph 1, item 8, of the Law on the Election of MPs, which lists death as a reason for the termination of the term of office of an MP before the expiration of the term they were elected for, and therefore proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the term of office of MP Ivan Tasovac, elected from the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – FOR OUR CHILDREN Electoral List.

In the course of the sitting the Committee also considered and ruled to grant consent to the Republic of Serbia Energy Agency’s request for the recruitment of one new staff member.

The Committee went on to consider the Proposal of the Decision on the compensation for work in the Ethics Commission, submitted by MP Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
