31st Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 15 December 2025, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the Proposal of Candidates for Judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the President of the Republic, as well as the Proposal to Ascertain a List of Candidates for Judges of the Constitutional Court appointed by the President of the Republic, submitted by the National Assembly Speaker.

The Committee also considered the Bill amending the Law on Civil Servants, submitted by the Government, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Romania on Cooperation in the Field of Prevention, Containment and Mitigation of the Consequences of Natural Disasters, also submitted by the Government.

The Committee members found the Proposal of Candidates for Judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the President of the Republic, as well as the Proposal to Ascertain a List of Candidates for Judges of the Constitutional Court appointed by the President of the Republic, submitted by the National Assembly Speaker, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found the Bill amending the Law on Civil Servants, submitted by the Government, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Romania on Cooperation in the Field of Prevention, Containment and Mitigation of the Consequences of Natural Disasters, submitted by the Government, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Milica Nikolic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dijana Radovic, Slobodan Petrovic, Olja Petrovic, Nikola Bokan, Snezana Jovanovic, Risto Kostov, Vesna Nedovic, Milos Gnjidic, Jasmina Palurovic, Dragan Nikolic and Sladjana Susnjar.
