25th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 8 May 2025, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures Activity Report for the period 1 January 2024 – 31 December 2024.

The report was presented by the President of the Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures Hana Hukic.

Following a debate, by majority vote, the Committee adopted and forwarded the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures Activity Report for the period 1 January 2024 – 31 December 2024 to the National Assembly.

The Committee members then went on to consider the 2024 Report on Monitoring Conducted by the Public Procurement Office, presented by Snezana Leposavic, head of the Public Procurement Office Monitoring Group.

Following debate, the Committee decided, by majority vote, to forward to the National Assembly Conclusion Proposal that it accepted the 2024 Report on Monitoring Conducted by the Public Procurement Office.

The Committee passed the Decision on the establishment of the Working group tasked with ascertaining the compliance with requirements in the procedure of nomination of candidates for office in autonomous and independent state bodies and organisations elected by the National Assembly at public calls. Jasmina Palurovic was elected Working Group Chair, while MA Svetlana Milijic, Nenad Krstic, Pedja Mitrovic and Nenad Mitrovic were elected Working Group members.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Tijana Davidovac, Nenad Krstic, Jasmina Palurovic, Nikola Radosavljevic, MA Svetlana Milijic, Ilo Mihajlovski, Jozsef Tobias, Ana Beloica Martac, Dusan Nikezic, Pedja Mitrovic, Vojislav Vujic and Miroslav Aleksic.
