The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the 24th Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature, for Tuesday, 18 June, staring at 10 am.
The National Assembly Speaker ascertained the following agenda:
- State Audit Institution 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the State Audit Institution, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending of 31 May 2019;
- 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the Fiscal Council, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending of 13 May 2019, and
- 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the Commission for Protection of Competition, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy of 27 March 2019.
Before moving on to the agenda, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Djordje Milicevic, Dr Predrag Jelenkovic, Djordje Komlenski, Grozdana Banac, Tatjana Macura, Djordje Vukadinovic, Zoran Despotovic and Aleksandar Markovic requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
The National Assembly proceeded to open a single debate on the State Audit Institution 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the State Audit Institution, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending of 31 May 2019, presented by the President of the Council of the State Audit Institution Dr Dusko Pejovic and the Chairperson of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending Dr Aleksandra Tomic.
By the end of the day, the National Assembly had completed the single debate on item one on the agenda.
On day two of the proceedings, 19 June, the National Assembly completed a single debate on the 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the Fiscal Council, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending of 13 May 2019.
The sitting was attended by Fiscal Council President Dr Pavle Petrovic who presented the Activity Report along with the Chairperson of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending Dr Aleksandra Tomic.
On day three, 20 June, the National Assembly deliberated on the 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the Commission for Protection of Competition, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy of 27 March 2019.

The sitting was attended by the President of the Commission for Protection of Competition Dr Miloje Obradovic who presented the Activity Report along with the Chairperson of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy Snezana B. Petrovic.
By the end of the day, the National Assembly had completed the single debate on item three on the agenda.
As the National Assembly had completed a debate on all the items on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Veroljub Arsic set Friday, 21 June, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda of the 24th Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature, starting at 10 am.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, 21 June, the National Assembly passed the Conclusion Proposal on the State Audit Institution 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, Conclusion Proposal on the Fiscal Council 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, and the Conclusion Proposal on the Commission for Protection of Competition 2018 Activity Report, submitted by the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy.
The National Assembly also ruled on the violations of the Rules of Procedure the MPs complained of in the course of the sitting and decided that none of the provisions of the Rules of Procedure had been violated.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the 24th Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature.
