24th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature
At the request of 158 MPs, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the 24th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature, for Friday, 14 February 2020, starting at 10 am.
- Candidate List for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, submitted by the Culture and Information Committee.
By the end of the day the National Assembly had completed the single debate on the only item on the agenda.
As the National Assembly completed the debate, the Chair, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic set Friday, 14 February, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda of the 24th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature, starting at 5.40 pm.
On Voting Day, 14 February, by 129 MPs’ votes, the National Assembly elected Slobodan Cvejic member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, nominated by the competent committee of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and 129 MPs’ votes, Visnja Arandjelovic nominated by common agreement by associations of electronic media publishers and associations of journalists in the Republic of Serbia. National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic congratulated the newly-elected REM Council members on behalf of the MPs and herself and wished them success.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the 24th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature.
