21st Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature
At the request of 160 MPs, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the 21st Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature, for Monday, 3 February 2020, starting at noon.
- Proposal of an Authentic Interpretation of Article 48, paragraph 6 of the Law on Enforcement and Security, submitted by the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues.
The National Assembly then proceeded to commence a debate on the first and only item on the agenda.
On the second day of the proceedings, 4 February, before moving on to the agenda, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Aleksandar Seselj, Mirjana Dragas, Marijan Risticevic, Aleksandar Markovic and Djordje Vukadinovic, requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the one item on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Veroljub Arsic set Tuesday, 4 February, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda of the 21st Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature, starting at 11.20 am.
On Voting Day, 4 February, by majority vote, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal of an Authentic Interpretation of Article 48, paragraph 6 of the Law on Enforcement and Security, submitted by the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues.
