20th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 22 February 2021, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the six bills on the agenda of the Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature, viz.


The Bill amending and modifying the Law on Determination of Property Origin and Special Tax, submitted by the Government, Bill on Granting the Guarantee of the Republic of Serbia in Favour of German Development Bank KfW, Frankfurt-am-Main, for the Borrowing of JSC “Elektromreza Srbije”, Belgrade (Regional Programme of Energy Efficiency in the Transmission System II), submitted by the Government,

Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement between KfW, Frankfurt-am-Main (”KfW”) and the Republic of Serbia (“Borrower”) represented by the Minister of Finance for the Project “Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings and Renewable Energies in the District Heating Sector – Greening the Public Sector”, submitted by the Government, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Educational, Cultural and Sports Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United States of Mexico, submitted by the Government, Bill on the Confirmation of the Status Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union on Actions Carried Out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency in the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on Cooperation in the Fight against Human Trafficking, submitted by the Government.

The Committee members found, by majority vote, all the bills to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nevena Veinovic, Olja Petrovic, Vuk Mircetic, Luka Kebara, Ugljesa Mrdic, Djuro Peric, Dubravka Kralj, Toma Fila, Arpad Fremond, Ilija Matejic, Milenko Jovanov, Violeta Ocoljkovic and Milena Popovic.
