19th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee

At the sitting held on 8 November 2021, the member of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Agriculture and Rural Development, submitted by the Government.


The Bill was presented by State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Jelena Blagojevic, which the Committee proceeded to debate and accept.

The Committee also considered the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the third quarter of 2021, also presented by State Secretary Jelena Blagojevic.

Following a debate, the Committee accepted the Activity Information.

The Committee members also considered the current situation as regards the African swine fever present in Serbia, especially in the south-east of the country.

Committee members Milija Miletic and Olja Petrovic presented the situation, with a special focus on the Pirot District and Svrljig, and the spread of the disease in domestic pigs, while Emina Milakara presented the current situation as regards the African swine fever on behalf of the Veterinary Directorate.

Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic proposed that the Committee adopt a Conclusion on the current situation as regards the African swine fever present in Serbia, especially in the south-east of the country.

The Committee members unanimously adopted the proposed Conclusion.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Momir Stojilkovic, Josip Broz, Velibor Stanojlovic, Nenad Filipovic, Goran Kovacevic, Milija Miletic, Stanislav Janosevic, Arpad Fremond, Sonja Todorovic, Dijana Radovic, Veroljub Matic, Tijana Davidovac, Haji Milorad Stosic, Olja Petrovic and Zarko Bogatinovic.
