183rd Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 23 February, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to the Bill on Public Enterprises, Bill on Metrology, Bill on acquiring ownership rights of the grounds, facilities and lines of the joint stock company for the production and processing of steel Zelezara Smederevo d.o.o. Smederevo and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public-Private Partnership and Concessions, as well as the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, Bill on Public Health and the Bill on Protection of Citizens Against Infectious Diseases.
Out of the 235 amendments submitted to the Bill on Public Enterprises, the Committee found 234 to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while the amendment submitted to Article 78, paragraph 1 by MP Dejan Radenkovic was found not to comply with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee found all of the 62 amendments submitted to the Bill on Metrology to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee also found all 43 of the amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on acquiring ownership rights of the grounds, facilities and lines of the joint stock company for the production and processing of steel Zelezara Smederevo d.o.o. Smederevo to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The MPs had submitted 28 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public-Private Partnership and Concessions. The Committee members unanimously found them all to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The MPs had submitted 31 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration and the Committee found them all to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee unanimously found all 29 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Public Health to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The MPs had submitted 91 amendments to the Bill on Protection of Citizens Against Infectious Diseases. The Committee unanimously found them all to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was attended by Committee members and deputy members Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Zarko Obradovic, Zarko Micin, Svetislav Vukmirica, Nedjo Jovanovic, Veroljub Arsic, Jasmina Obradovic, Branka Jankovic, Dragan Polovina and Zivan Djurisic.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
