17th Sitting of the Health and Family Committee

At the sitting held on 6 November, the members of the Health and Family Committee reviewed the Ministry of Health Activity Information for the period January – March 2018 and April – June 2018.

The Ministry’s normative and program activities in the reporting periods were presented by State Secretary at the Ministry of Health Berislav Vekic who spoke about the international cooperation realized and health inspections completed the period January – March viz. 12,219 inspections, and in the period April – June viz. 12,685 inspections.

The State Secretary also briefed the Committee members on the particulars of project “Reconstruction of clinical centres in Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and Kragujevac)”.

Following a short discussion the Committee accepted the Ministry of Health Activity Information for the period January – March 2018 and April – June 2018.

The MPs went on to review the 17 civic petitions the Committee had in the meantime received from private citizens and organizations and forwarded them along for further processing.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Darko Laketic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Radoslav Jovic, Dr Danica Bukvic, Prim. Dr Milovan Krivokapic, Dr Dragana Nikolic Barisic, Dr Svetlana Pavlovic, Dr Desanka Repac, Milena Bicanin, Dr Dragan Vesovic, Prof. Dr Milan Knezevic, Dr Ljubica Mrdakovic Todorovic and Dr Danijela Stojadinovic.
