16th Sitting of the Health and Family Committee

At the sitting held on 19 July, the members of the Health and Family Committee discussed the Bill on Human Cells and Tissues, Bill on Human Organ Transplantation and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Psychoactive Controlled Substances in detail.

Of the 526 amendments submitted to the Bill on Human Cells and Tissues the Government and the Committee accepted two – the amendment to Article 3 submitted jointly by MPs Dr Sanda Raskovic Ivic, Dr Dijana Vukomanovic and Djordje Vukadinovic and the amendment to Article 5 submitted jointly by MPs Dr Sanda Raskovic Ivic, Dr Dijana Vukomanovic and Djordje Vukadinovic.

Of the 165 amendments submitted to the Bill on Human Organ Transplantation the Government and the Committee accepted two – the amendment to Article 1, paragraph 2 submitted jointly by MPs Dr Sanda Raskovic Ivic, Dr Dijana Vukomanovic and Djordje Vukadinovic and the amendment to Article 9, paragraph 3 submitted jointly by MPs Dr Sanda Raskovic Ivic, Dr Dijana Vukomanovic and Djordje Vukadinovic.

Of the 103 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Psychoactive Controlled Substances the Government and the Committee accepted one – the amendment submitted to Article 1, paragraph 2 by MP Djordje Komlenski.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Sci. Med Darko Laketic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prim. Dr Milovan Krivokapic, Borka Grubor, Prof. Dr Dusan Milisavljevic, Milena Bicanin, Dr Danica Bukvic, Dr Desanka Repac, Radoslav Jovic, Dr Ljubica Mrdakovic Todorovic, Dr Dragan Vesovic, Prof. Dr Milan Knezevic, Dr Svetlana Nikolic Pavlovic and Dr Danijela Stojadinovic.
