15th Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic convened the 15th Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021, for Thursday, 23 December 2021, starting at 10 am.

Before commencing the proceedings, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Samir Tandir, Jelena Mihailovic and Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.

The National Assembly proceeded to adopt the following one-item agenda:

  1. Proposal of the Decision on the election of public prosecutors to office, submitted by the Government.
The National Assembly then commenced a single debate on the only item on the agenda, presented by Minister of Justice Maja Popovic.

As the National Assembly had completed the single debate on the only item on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Elvira Kovacs, set Thursday, 23 December 2021, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda of the 15th Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021, starting at 6.05 pm.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, 23 December 2021, by majority vote, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal of the Decision on the election of public prosecutors to office, submitted by the Government.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, the Chair, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic, concluded the 15th Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021.
