14th Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 3 May, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered six of the bills on the agenda of the Fourth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2018 in detail.


Out of the 333 amendments submitted to the Bill on Production and Trade in Weapons and Military Equipment, the Government and the Committee accepted three. The Committee also submitted an amendment of its own to Article 10 of the Bill.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 58 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Engagement of the Serbian Armed Forces and Other Defence Forces in Multinational Operations outside of the Republic of Serbia Borders.

The Government and the Committee also accepted none of the 110 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Defence.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 162 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Serbian Armed Forces. The Committee submitted an amendment of its own to Article 22 of the Bill.

The Government and the Committee accepted one of the 654 amendments submitted to the Bill on Military Education.

Out of the 96 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Military, Labour and Material Obligations, the Government and the Committee accepted one.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Marija Obradovic, and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Momcilo Mandic, Sandra Bozic, Borisav Kovacevic, Zoran Radojicic, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Djordje Milicevic, Dubravka Filipovski, MA Igor Becic, Jasmina Obradovic, MA Milovan Drecun and Aleksandar Markovic.
