101st Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending


At the sitting held on 17 December, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered a number of the bills proposed for the agenda of the Ninth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2019, in detail.

The Government and the Committee accepted 14 of the 107 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Public Procurement.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 15 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Public Debt Law.

Of the 55 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, the Government and the Committee accepted one, the amendment submitted to Article 34 by MP Dr Aleksandra Tomic.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 13 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Deadlines for Settlement of Financial Liabilities in Commercial Transactions.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the six amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Central Registry of Compulsory Social Insurance either.

Of the 12 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Customs Tariff, the Government and the Committee accepted two, the amendment submitted to Article 1 by MP Milorad Mircic and the amendment submitted to Article 3 by MP Dr Aleksandra Tomic.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 12 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Games of Chance.

Of the nine amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tobacco, the Government and the Committee accepted one, the amendment submitted to Article 1 by MP Vjerica Radeta.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Bojanic, Srbislav Filipovic, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Sonja Vlahovic, Gorica Gajic, Momo Colakovic, Olivera Pesic, Snezana R. Petrovic, Zoltan Pek and Dr Milorad Mijatovic.
