The church of Prince Miloš in Kragujevac, the prince’s meadow next to the church was most often the venue where the assemblies took place. Because they took place in the open, the assemblies were attended by many a common folk. (from 1830) St. Andrew’s Day Assembly held session in the building of the Great Beer Hall in Belgrade, in the grand hall sanctified by three priests – MPs. The Assembly had 439 MPs. (from 1858) National Assembly building in Kragujevac, constructed by order of Prince Miloš during his second rule. The first assembly held there was the Transfiguration Day Assembly (from 1861) Elementary school in Niš by the Congregational Church (from 1878) Red Cross House in Belgrade (1880 - 1881)

The cornerstone for the building in Nikola Pašić Square, today the National Assembly House, was laid on 27 August 1907 in the presence of king Peter I Karađorđević A charter bearing the names of the king, metropolitan and chief architect Jovan Ilkić was built into the foundations. The construction of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia was completed in 1936.
