    Speaker Dulic Receives Delegation of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts

    In his talk with the delegation of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA), headed by the President of SASA, Nikola Hajdin, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dr Oliver Dulic, announced that the Bill on the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts will be on the agenda of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2008. The talk focused on the importance and need to pass the Bill on the Academy, currently in Assembly procedure, as soon as possible.

    Speaker Dulic Receives Russian Observers of the Presidential Election

    The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dr Oliver Dulic, met today at the National Assembly House with the delegation of Russian parliamentaries who will monitor as observers the Presidential Election in the Republic of Serbia called for 20 January 2008. In his conversation with the representatives of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States and deputies of the Russian Federation’s State Duma, Speaker Dulic expressed his pleasure that the Russian observers will monitor the Serbian Presidential Election, as well as his firm belief that the election will be conducted peacefully in an atmosphere of fair play and democracy.

    Meeting of Delegations of Serbian National Assembly and Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina

    A delegation of the Serbian National Assembly met today at the National Assembly House with a delegation of the Joint Commission on human rights, children’s rights, youth, immigration, refugees, asylum and ethics of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visiting Serbia form 16-18 January.

    Agreement on Parliamentary Cooperation Between Republic of Srpska and Republic of Serbia Signed

    The Speakers of the Assemblies of the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Serbia, Igor Radojicic and Oliver Dulic, signed a protocol on parliamentary cooperation at Banja Luka today, as part of the commemoration of the sixteenth anniversary of the existence of the Republic of Srpska.
