NARS Session Discontinued
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic discontinued today’s NARS session, the part relating to parliamentary questions to the Prime Minister and members of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as the Serbian Radio Television (RTS) had stopped the live broadcast of the session.

Bundestag – the Classroom of Parliamentarism
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, currently in a one-day official visit to Berlin, talked to the President of the German Bundestag Prof. Dr Norbert Lammert. The meeting was also attended by NARS Deputy Speakers Nikola Novakovic (G17 Plus), Bozidar Delic (SNS) and Judita Popovic (LDP), members of the delegation of the NARS Children’s Rights Working Group visiting the Bundestag at the invitation of its Commission for Children’s Concerns.

Sixth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010 Convened
At the request of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the Sixth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010, for Monday, 26 July 2010, starting at 12 p. m. As specified in the request to hold the session, the agenda will contain the Proposal of the Decision of the National Assembly on the Ruling of the International Court of Justice on the Legality of the Unilaterally Declared Independence by the Provisional Institutions of Kosovo-Metohija and the Continuation of the Activities of the Republic of Serbia in the Defense of the Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity of the Republic of Serbia.

Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman in Novi Pazar
On 27 July 2010 the Chairman of the National Assembly Committee on Petitions and Proposals Sasa Dujovic and Committee Deputy Chairman Kenan Hajdarevic will visit Novi Pazar where they shall, at the invitation of the representatives of the Association of Labour Disabled and Handicapped Persons – subsidiary of the labour disabled in Iskra Metal company, discuss the resolution of their problems.
