Twenty-Seventh Sitting of the Committee on Defense and Security
At the sitting held on 7 June, the Committee on Defense and Security considered the Military Security Agency’s (VBA) Activity Report covering period 1 December 2009 – 30 April 2010.The VBA’s Activity Report was presented to the deputies by its Director, Svetko Kovac, who attended the Committee sitting along with his associates.

Twenty-Sixth Sitting of the Committee on Defense and Security
At the sitting held on 7 June, the Committee on Defense and Security considered the Proposal of the Decision on the Adoption of the Annual Plan for the Use of the Serbian Army and Other Defense Forces in Multinational Operations in 2010 and Proposal of the Decision on the Participation of Serbian Army Personnel in Multinational Operations in 2010, submitted by the Government.

Ninety-First Sitting of the Legislative Committee
At the sitting held on 7 June, the Legislative Committee considered the eighth Bills included in the agenda for the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010. With one reserved opinion, the Committee members adopted the proposal to inform the National Assembly that the Bill on Electronic Communication, on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Establishment of the Regional School of Public Administration (RESPA), amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education Law, on Court Experts and amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia, adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

35th General Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation PA
From 1 to 3 June, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia hosted the 35th General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), chaired by Serbia in the first half of 2010. Parliamentary delegations of 12 Black Sea region countries took part in the session.
