Twenty-First Sitting of the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues
The Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues held its twenty-first sitting on 11 December.
The Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues held its twenty-first sitting on 11 December. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman Meho Omerovic. The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and Ministry of Finance.
The Committee members considered the Republic of Serbia 2010 Budget Bill – Section 21, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. Elaborating next year’s budget Bill, Suzana Paunovic, Assistant Minister of Labour and Social Policy, pointed out that the budget secured about 92 billion 66 million RSD worth of funds and that the labour and social policy budget makes up 12% of the gross domestic product.
Following the discussion on the Budget Bill, the Committee endorsed the Republic of Serbia 2010 Budget Bill – Section 21, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy with the reserved opinions of two Committee members.
The Committee went on to accept in principle the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financial Support for Families with Children.
