Thirty-Sixth Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija
At the sitting held on 1 and 2 November the members of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija deliberated on the Report on the activities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia on stabilizing the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, submitted by the Government.
The sitting was adjourned on the first day as none of the invited Government representatives came to explain the Report, so the Committee Chairman adjourned the sitting and scheduled a continuation on 2 November.
In the continuation, attended by the Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic and associates and Borislav Stefanovic, head of the Serbian Government’s Negotiating Team for dialogue with Pristina, the Committee debated the Report.
Following the debate on the Report on the activities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia on stabilizing the situation in Kosovo-Metohija the Committee concluded it necessary for the National Assembly Speaker to request that the Government of the Republic of Serbia submit an act proposal containing measures and an activity plan aimed at stabilizing the situation in AP Kosovo-Metohija to the National Assembly to debate and vote on.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Ljubomir Kragovic.
