On 12 April, the Industry Committee held its thirty-fourth sitting on the premises of the Agency for Licensing Bankruptcy Trustees.

As the sitting lacked a decision-making quorum, pursuant to article 72, paragraph 5 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure the Committee members were briefed on the Agency’s work and competencies from 2005 to 31 March 2011. The Committee members were also briefed on the electronic monitoring systems and programmes used to follow the work of bankruptcy trustees, data on licensed bankruptcy trustees, bankruptcy according to assets i.e. capital, deadlines for the completion of bankruptcy proceedings and the number of bankruptcies per competent courts.

The manner of monitoring the work of bankruptcy trustees and types of reviews and analyses of their work received a special focus.

The Information on the work and review of the work of bankruptcy trustees was submitted by Vesna Gacesa, Agency Director, and the Agency employees, and all the deputies present as well as the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and representatives of the Serbian Employers’ Union took part in the debate.

The sitting was chaired by Milorad Buha, Committee Chairman.
