Third Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija

At the sitting held on 11 January, the members of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija were informed about the current political and security situation in Kosovo-Metohija.

The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, the Police, Military Security Agency, Military Intelligence Agency, Security Information Agency, Office for Kosovo-Metohija and the Office for the Coordination of Affairs in the Process of Negotiation with the Provisional Institutions in Pristina, who informed the Committee members on the state-of-play in Kosovo-Metohija, after which the information was analysed in detail.

The Committee members ascertained that the political situation in Kosovo-Metohija is relatively stable despite the current events, but the security situation is sensitive and could deteriorate and lead to incidents.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Milovan Drecun.
