Third Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality

At the sitting held on 21 May, the members of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality discussed the Bill amending and modifying the Law on National Councils of National Minorities, submitted by the Government, in detail.

Out of the 35 amendments submitted, the Government and the Committee members accepted one - the amendment submitted to article 67 by MP Zoran Babic. The two amendments the Committee had submitted to articles 1 and 36 of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on National Councils of National Minorities were also accepted.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Meho Omerovic.
