Talks of the National Assembly Chairperson with Stjepan Mesic
The Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and acting President of the Republic of Serbia, Natasa Micic, today held talks with the President of the Republic of Croatia, Stjepan Mesic.
Both sides expressed satisfaction at the growth of bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro and its member states. It was agreed that co-operation was of great importance to both countries’ hopes for joining European integrations.
The parties expressed the expectation that the easing of visa requirements would have an even greater impact on the development of commercial and all other forms of co-operation.
The talks stressed that the two countries would be long-term partners in preserving the region’s stability and working to bring it closer to the European Union.
