Speaker Congratulates Easter
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, acting President of the Republic of Serbia, extended most heartfelt congratulations on the major Christian holiday, the day of the resurrection of Christ, to His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, church dignitaries, clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church, all faithful and all Serbian citizens who celebrate Easter.
“I hope the joy of the holidays will remind us that tolerance and solidarity are modern values, so vital in our society today. May we spend the upcoming holidays celebrating life, in spiritual peace and well-being”, said Speaker Djukic Dejanovic in her letter of congratulations.
