Sixth Sitting of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region
At the sitting held on 23 October 2014, the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region discussed the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2014 Budget Law, in the part relating to the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.
Having debated the issue, the Committee members decided to propose that the Committeeon Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending accept the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2014 Budget Law, in the part relating to the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region. The Committee also concluded that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should come up with a way to call a competition for funds to be awarded to associations and organisations in the diaspora and of Serbs in the region by the end of 2014.
The sitting was chaired by Dr Janko Veselinovic, Committee Chairman.
