The Committee on Kosovo and Metohia held its sixth sitting on 15 November. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Vladimir Milentijevic.

The Committee members discussed the upcoming province and local elections in AP Kosovo and Metohia organised by the provisional institutions of the Kosovo Government, called for 17 November.

After more than two hours of discussion, the Committee took a unanimous position calling the citizens on the territory of AP Kosovo and Metohia not to respond to the upcoming province and local elections in AP Kosovo and Metohia organised by the provisional institutions of the Kosovo Government because that would give legitimacy to the organs striving for the secession of 15% of the territory of Serbia.

The Committee also concluded that this decision be forwarded to all deputies of the Serbian Assembly, the Serbian Government and the ministry in charge.
