Seventy-Ninth Sitting of the Legislative Committee
At the sitting held on 4 March, the Legislative Committee discussed in principle nine Bills submitted by the Government and included in the agenda for the First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010. The Committee deemed that the Bills amending and modifying the Law on Scientific and Research Activities, amending and modifying the Law on Innovative Activities, on the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU), on Geographical Indications, on the Confirmation of the Patent Law Treaty, on the Confirmation of the Nice Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purpose of the Registration of Marks of 15 June 1957, as revised in Stockholm on 14 July 1967 and Geneva on 13 May 1977 and as amended on 28 September 1979, on Amnesty, amending and modifying the Law on State Land Survey and Cadastre and amending and modifying the Law on International Road Transport, adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

At the sitting, the Committee rejected as untimely two amendments to the Bill on the Confirmation of the Patent Law Treaty, three amendments to the Amnesty Bill, four amendments to the Customs Bill, two amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Corporate Income Tax Law, three amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law and two amendments to the Bill on the indebtedness of the Republic of Serbia at Erste GCIB Finance I.B.V. Amsterdam, with Erste Bank a.d.
