Seventh Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 27 September 2024, the members of the European Integration Committee considered, in principle, the Bill on Environmental Impact Assessment, Bill on Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment and the Bill on Control of Major-Accident Hazards Involving Dangerous Substances, submitted by the Government.

On behalf of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the bills were presented by Assistant Minister Aleksandra Imsiragic Djuric.

Following a debate the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept the bills in principle.

The Committee went on to adopt the Decision on the organisation of the 20th meeting of the Conference of the European Integration/Affairs Committees of States Participating in the Stabilisation and Association Process of the South-East Europe (COSAP), in Belgrade, and to select a delegation to take part in it.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Dr Tijana Peric Diligenski, Sanja Dzajic, Ivana Stamatovic, Dragan Jonic, Goran Milic, Zeljko Rebraca, Branislav Josifovic, Zivota Starcevic, Ana Miljanic and Nikola Lazic.
