At the seventeenth sitting, held on 2 March 2010, the Education Committee considered the Bill on Pre-School Upbringing and Education, Bill on Pupil and Student Standard and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between Serbia and Montenegro and the United States of America on the Status of the International School of Belgrade, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dr Zoran Sami, and attended by Dr Zarko Obradovic, Minister of Education and associates.

Following the discussion, the Committee decided, by a majority of votes, to endorse the Bill on Pre-School Upbringing and Education, in principle. By a majority of votes, the Committee members decided to endorse the Bill on Pupil and Student Standard in principle. Deputies Dr Nikola Zutic and Aleksandra Ilic reserved their opinions.

The Committee went on to decide, by a majority of votes, to propose that the National Assembly accept the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between Serbia and Montenegro and the United States of America on the Status of the International School of Belgrade.
